Ensemble Grades 6 - 12

Acting classes at LMUMC! Professional actress, Emilia Sargent, will lead ongoing FUN acting classes for youth on the 2nd & 3rd Sundays of the month. Find your dramatic voice in ministry as you learn the craft of acting. Students will learn fundamental principles upon which to build the confidence and technique to act in drama ministry and beyond. All experience levels are welcome! Just bring your interest, commitment, and desire to communicate God’s word through the Dramatic Arts.

The goal of the Youth Drama Ensemble will be to apply acting and performance skills in LMUMC Drama Ministry throughout the active year.

Actors in the Ensemble will learn the craft of acting as they continually prepare Christ centered scripts for scene study, as well as periodic performances in church worship services, middle school ministry, high school ministry, special events, and outreach opportunities.

The Youth Drama Ensemble will meet bimonthly in the Choir Room on the 2nd Sunday from 6:45 – 8:00 p.m. and the 3rd Sunday from 5:45 – 7:30 p.m. No need to pre-register. For more information contact, Emilia Sargent, emiliasargent@verizon.net, or Joey Herres, Jherres@lmumc.org.
