HOLY LAND EXPERIENCE: Let’s celebrate Easter at the Holy Land Experience in Orlando on February 25, 2012. The cost is $31 for adults (if we have 10 or more people) PLUS the cost for the church van, driver and food. If you are interested please contact Rev. Ash Wednesday: On February 22nd, we come together as a church family to mark the beginning of the Lenten Season with an Ash Wednesday Service at 6:30pm in the sanctuary.

2012 CONERSTONE Wonder Walk: Saturday, March 17th, from 8:00am until noon, beginning at Hyde Park UMC (500 W. Platt St., Tampa, FL 33606) leading to a beautiful walk on Bayshore Blvd. You can participate by collecting pledges for walkers and contributing to making a difference in the lives of over 100 inner-city pre school age children at Rosa Valdez Early Childhood Learning Center. This center is the national mission institution of the Methodist Church in Tampa. If you are interested, there will be a table in the courtyard on Sunday mornings in which you can sign up.

Ladies Retreat Weekend: March 9th-11th. $50 deposit will secure your place at the relaxing, renewal retreat. The remaining $95 is due February 22nd. Register at the table outside in the courtyard on Sunday mornings or on Wednesday nights in the lobby of Heritage Hall. Gentlemen, this will make a great Valentine gift for that special lady.

Tour the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home (FUMCH): A tour of our UM Children’s Home is planned for Saturday, March 17th, leaving the church at 7:30am and arriving back at 4:00pm. See where your fifth Sunday giving goes in this eye opening tour that includes a program by the children, tours of the campus including the live-in cottages, interaction with some of the children and a free box lunch.
